until somebody picks it up.
Mobile On-Screen Controls
- ⤒ — Jump (tap button)
- ● — Fire (tap button)
- ⚑ — Drop Flag (tap button)
- ◎ — Identify (tap button)
- Use on-screen joystick to move/turn
Mouse Steering
- M or the Mouse Steering row — Enable/Disable
- ESC — Leave mouse steering (see Dialogs & Menus)
- Mouse Up/Down — Control Speed
- Mouse Left/Right — Turn Tank
- Targeting Box — Inside the small box the tank holds still; the outer box edge is full turn and full speed, and going further out adds nothing
- The keys still drive: hold a key and it owns that axis, let go and the
mouse has it back. Steer with the mouse while holding W,
or turn with A/D while the mouse sets the speed.
- Left Click — Shoot, anywhere on screen unless chat is
active or the on-screen controls are up
- Right Click — Identify: locks a Guided Missile onto the tank in your sights, and picks the roaming target while observing
- The row is unavailable with no mouse attached, in VR, or while the
on-screen controls are up, since those steer instead
Dialogs & Menus
- ESC — Back out one step, and Settings is the last stop:
leave chat, leave fullscreen, leave mouse steering, then open Settings. One more
press closes it, so pressing ESC once too often costs nothing
- Up/Down — Previous/next control, including from inside a text field
- Left/Right — Change the focused control: move a slider, pick the next
choice. In a text field they move the cursor instead
- Tab / Shift+Tab — Previous/next control
- Home / End — First/last control
- Enter or Space — Press the focused control
- This Help panel is read rather than operated, so here the arrows scroll it and
only Left/Right move focus

- N — Open Chat (or click the Send button)
- Enter — Send Chat (or click the Send button again)
- ESC — Exit Chat Input
- 1/2/3/4/5 — Chat tabs: All/Chat/Server/Misc/Debug

- . — Reply to last direct-message sender
- , — Message nemesis target
- Page Up / Page Down — Chat scrollback
- End — Jump chat to newest message
- Click Player Name — Open Settings
Observer
- Drive / Turn — Fly the camera; an Observer has no tank
- Tab / Space — Climb / Descend
- Enter or C — Step through views and players: leader, each player, next view
- Views: Free, Track, Follow, Driving with, Flag
- I or Right Click — In the Free view, watch the tank in your sights
- Click a scoreboard row — Watch that player; click it again for the leader
- The camera rests at the eye height of a tank on the ground.

- Observers talk and listen on the same terms as everyone else.
